Organizer Guide
Events & Maps
A comprehensive guide to launching your event on Popgo. Learn how to configure registration forms and design intuitive booth layouts.
1. Creating an Event
To start taking registrations, you need to create an event. From your dashboard, click Create Event.
- Event Details: Name your event, set the dates, and specify the physical location.
- Dynamic Forms: Customize the application form. Ask vendors for their menu photos, social handles, or specific compliance documents (e.g., Food Handling Cert).
2. Visual Map Builder
Popgo's unique feature is the interactive map. Instead of selecting a generic "Booth Type A", vendors can choose specific, numbered locations on your venue map.
How mapping works:
- Upload a background image (e.g., your floor plan or venue blueprint).
- Define the dimensions (width and height).
- Drag and drop "Booth Slots" onto the map.
- Set the rotation, size, and assign a specific Booth Type to each slot.

3. Booth Types vs. Booth Slots
It's important to understand the hierarchy in Popgo:
| Concept | Explanation |
|---|---|
| Booth TypesAbstract Category | Categories of spaces you sell. Think of this as the "ticket type" or "SKU". Example: "Premium F&B (3x3m, $500)" or "Standard Retail (2x2m, $150)". You define the price and the total quantity available to be sold. |
| Booth SlotsPhysical Location | The specific physical locations drawn on the map. Example: A rectangle drawn near the entrance named "A-12". This specific slot must belong to one of your `Booth Types`. Vendors select exactly which slot they want when they apply. |
