Popgo handles the entire payment flow for booth bookings — from secure checkout to payout — so organisers and vendors don't have to think about it.
Stripe Checkout
When a vendor applies for a booth, payment is collected immediately through a secure Stripe Checkout session. Popgo never stores card details directly — all payment data is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant processor.
Pay during application
Vendors pay the booth fee at the moment they apply, using any major card, GrabPay, or Google Pay. No deposits, invoices, or manual follow-up.

Booth Reservation Lock
To prevent double-bookings, Popgo holds a booth for a 15-minute window once a vendor begins checkout.
If payment isn't completed in that window, the booth is automatically released and becomes available to other vendors again. We use atomic reservation logic, so even under high demand only one vendor can ever complete payment for a given booth.
Real-time availability
The visual map updates live as booths are reserved, paid for, or released — so vendors always see accurate availability.
Payouts & refunds
- Funds go directly to the organiser's connected Stripe account — Popgo never holds or escrows funds.
- A flat 5% platform fee is deducted automatically from each paid booking.
- If an organiser rejects a vendor's application, they can issue a refund from the dashboard. The platform fee and Stripe processing fees are non-refundable.
